Digital stamp card for restaurants — turn first-time guests into regulars
Put the stamp card in the guest's phone, stamp at the till — scan the card or type in the member number — and bring the guest back with a reward they can see getting closer. No app, no paper, no lost cards.
- In the phone browser — no app
- Stamp: scan or type the number
- The card is never lost
A digital stamp card is a stamp card in the guest's phone — the guest collects a stamp each visit, your staff scan the card or type in the member number at the till, and the card can never be lost. When the card is full, the guest gets a reward and a reason to come back.

Add a stamp — and watch the reward get closer
This is the guest's card with the demo venue's real values. Press the button as if you were at the till: the stamp lands, the counter ticks, and at ten stamps the reward unlocks.
- The guest scans your QR code once — the card opens in their phone browser, no app.
- On each visit a stamp is added at the till — staff scan the card or type in the member number.
- The guest can always see how close the reward is — that is the reason to choose you again.
- At a full card the reward unlocks on its own, and the visits count on the same guest profile as the bookings.

Only 3 to go until Free lunch
70%- The reward unlocked on its own — staff hand over what the guest has earned, nothing to count by hand.
- Each stamp counted as a visit on the guest's profile — the same profile as the bookings.
- In the dashboard you see which guests are close to a reward and can send a reminder.
The stamp card lives in the guest's phone
A digital stamp card, sometimes called a digital loyalty card, replaces the paper card you stamp by hand. The guest scans your QR code once and the card opens in their phone browser — no app, no account. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet are planned separately.
- Opens in the phone browser in one scan
- You set the reward and the number of stamps
- Never washed in a coat pocket or left at home

-
The guest scans your QR code at the table or by the till. The card opens in the browser with stamps, member number and reward — no app, no account.
-
Stamps are added at the till — staff scan the guest's card or type in the member number shown on it. Both take a couple of seconds. Each stamp counts as a visit on the guest's profile, the same profile that carries the booking.
-
The card shows how many stamps are left and what the reward is — for example coffee on the house at five and a free lunch at ten. That is the reason to choose you again.
-
When the card is full, the reward shows up automatically for the guest, and staff hand over what the guest has earned. No lists to keep track of.
-
In the dashboard's Loyalty view you see active cards, your regulars and who is close to a reward — and can send a quick reminder by email or text.
-
A coming feature: the stamp card as a real wallet pass. Today the card lives in the phone browser — the guest can save the link and get it by email.
A reason to come back instead of trying somewhere new
A first-time guest is easy to lose. A guest who is three stamps from a free lunch has a reason to choose you again — that is repeat business, guests coming back instead of going elsewhere. Getting a past guest to return costs far less than finding a new one.
- See who your regulars are and who is close to a reward
- Send a quick reminder by email or text
- The same regular shows up on the guest profile as your bookings, not in a separate register

What operators usually ask
What is a digital stamp card?
A digital stamp card, sometimes called a digital loyalty card, is a stamp card that lives in the guest's phone instead of on paper. The guest collects a stamp each visit and gets a reward when the card is full. It opens in the phone browser — no app to download. There is a short explainer for the term wallet coupon in the glossary.
Does a stamp card suit a café?
That is where it earns its keep. A café lives on guests who come back several times a week, and that is exactly what the card measures — ten coffees, the tenth on you. The whole flow for that kind of business is on the page for cafés.
Does the guest need an app?
No. The guest scans your QR code once and the card opens in their phone browser — stamps, member number and reward in one place. Nothing gets downloaded and there is no account to set up. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet are planned separately.
Do staff have to scan to add a stamp?
No. Staff can scan the guest's card or type in the member number shown on the card — both take a couple of seconds at the till, so it works even when scanning isn't possible. The stamp always comes from a purchase, never from a booking: a booking does not mean the guest turned up, and someone who turned up and had a soft drink should not get the same stamp as someone who ate lunch.
How does it bring guests back?
A guest who is a few stamps short of a free lunch has a reason to choose you again. You can also see who is close to a reward and send a quick reminder, so a guest who has drifted comes back for the visit that completes the card. If you need inspiration for the reward, there are restaurant loyalty program ideas with a type for every kind of place.
How does it fit with the rest of loyalty?
The stamp card is one part of Goboblo's loyalty program. It works alongside lunch coupons and wallet coupons on the same guest profile as your bookings.
