Choose tonight's games and set the screen, channel and kickoff. Each TV gets its own game list in the floor plan.

Mark which tables and sections see the screen. Now Goboblo knows which seats have a view of the game.

The guest picks a game in the reservation and gets a time and a seat in front of a screen showing it — without guessing which table sees the game.

Each screen gets its own game list with title, channel and kickoff. Staff see the night's TV plan on the same map as the tables and reservations — the NFL on the big screen, MLB at the bar, MLS in the booths and the NHL at the front row.

Tie every table to the screen it sees

Goboblo ties every table to the screen it sees, one or several. When a party wants to watch the game, smart seating suggests a table in front of that screen first, so you fill the best seats without guessing. Letting the guest pick the exact table is a separate choice per location, explained in choose your table when booking.

The week's games

Plan the week's games without typing everything from scratch

Goboblo pulls in the TV listings for you in the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Austria, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. In the US that covers the NFL, college football, the NBA, MLB, the NHL and MLS, among others.

In the Games tab you see upcoming games a week, two weeks, four weeks or a month ahead, pick the ones you show and put them on the right screen. The week's top games are already picked out — one tap on Add all adds them.

No game opens for reservations until you've added it. You also add games by hand.

Guest reservations, in the real widget

The guest picks the game — Goboblo finds a seat with a view

The game choice becomes part of the reservation alongside date, time and party size. The guest picks when to arrive, up to two hours before kickoff, and doesn't pick an exact table — you seat the party in front of a screen showing the game. For Patriots–Bills at The Lantern the guest also sees the game's rules: a card guarantee of $10 per person, charged only on a no-show, and a minimum spend of $30 per person.

The Lantern is our example sports bar in Boston, and its website shows this week's games and takes reservations straight from Goboblo. The same site runs Goboblo's restaurant event booking for Trivia Night, restaurant gift cards and a digital stamp card for restaurants inside the bar's own design, so guests reserve without leaving the site.

Game waitlist

Offer the right free seat to the right waiting guest

Goboblo ties the waitlist to the game. The Peterson Party, waiting for Patriots–Bills, joins the waitlist for that game, and staff offer a seat from it — Goboblo only shows tables with a view of the right screen. When a game reservation is canceled, an offer goes by email to the next guest on that game's waitlist, if you switch on automatic offers. The game waitlist works like Goboblo's restaurant waitlist, but per game.

No-show protection

Fewer empty tables in front of the most wanted screens

Goboblo sends every reservation a confirmation and a reminder by email, with one tap to confirm or cancel. When a table frees up, staff offer it to the waitlist, so a seat in front of the big screen doesn't stay empty at kickoff. At The Lantern, “Top game: table + wings” is two seats by the big screen with wings and a soda each for $39.90, and “Patriots night for four” is $79.90. The guest picks the package when reserving the table and pays right away, so the food is already sold before they walk in.

See which games bring the guest back

Every completed reservation updates a guest profile you own. The guest profile shows which teams the guest follows, drawn from past game reservations. With the right consent you can filter your messages by team or league and reach fans ahead of the right game — without paying commission for a relationship you already have.

The profiles sit in Goboblo's restaurant CRM software, in a guest database you own. Pair it with Goboblo's restaurant loyalty program software and a stamp card brings fans back for the next big game.

What is a sports bar reservation system?

A sports bar reservation system takes table reservations online, shows a live floor plan and handles the waitlist and walk-ins on game day. Goboblo adds what a sports bar needs: you choose which games are shown, tie every TV to the right tables and let guests pick a game when they reserve. The core is the same as restaurant reservation software.

How does a guest pick which game to watch?

The guest picks the game in the reservation: “I want to watch a game” opens the list with teams, kickoff time and league. The guest then picks when to arrive, up to two hours before kickoff. The guest doesn't pick an exact table — Goboblo seats the party in front of a screen showing the game.

Does the guest have to pick an exact table?

No. By default the guest picks a game and a time, and Goboblo suggests or assigns a table in front of the right screen. You decide per location whether the guest can also choose a table, pick a section, or just choose a game and time.

How are tables tied to TV screens?

The floor plan ties tables to TV screens: you put the game on a screen and mark the tables that see it. Goboblo uses that link when it seats game reservations and when it shows open seats to the guest, so you fill the best seats without two parties landing at the same table in front of the big game.

Can several games be shown at once?

Yes. Each screen keeps its own game list: the NFL on the big screen, MLB at the bar, MLS in the booths and the NHL at the front row. The floor plan shows which game is on which screen and how many parties have reserved for each game.

Does Goboblo pull in the games automatically?

Yes. Goboblo pulls in the TV listings for the seven countries it covers and lists the upcoming games in the Games tab. You pick the games you show, and no game opens for reservations until you've added it.

Which sports and countries are supported?

You add any game by hand — any sport, league or country. In the countries where Goboblo pulls in the TV listings, upcoming games are ready to pick.

Does Goboblo work without a POS integration?

Yes. Goboblo runs as the sports bar's own reservation system with no link to a POS or staff scheduling — reservations, floor plan, game choice, screen control, waitlist and guest profiles are included. You connect more systems when you need them, such as your website, Google Business Profile, email and calendar.

Can I use Goboblo on my existing website?

Yes. You embed the restaurant reservation widget on your own website or put a reservation link in your Google Business Profile and social channels. Guests reserve directly with you. No website? You make a free restaurant website in Goboblo at an address like your-restaurant.goboblo.site, with your games, your menu and reservations on it. Your own domain is $25 a month, plus sales tax.

How are cancellations and the waitlist handled?

Cancellations take one tap: every reservation gets an automatic confirmation and a reminder by email, with a link where the guest confirms or cancels. When a game reservation is canceled, an offer goes by email to the next guest on the waitlist for that game, with a view of the right screen — if you switch on automatic offers.
